Support our work

The work we do wouldn't be possible without the support of our donors. If you would like to support Grassroots Tanzania, you can help in a number of ways:

Sponsor a hive for 2016

Name your own hive and support local conservation efforts.  For £200 you can sponsor your own hive.  This includes the hive, all year-round management, and distribution of honey to market.  Your sponsorship will also include training delivered by Grassroots Tanzania for the villagers on Conservation in 2016.

In return we will name your hive(s), send you a certificate of support and updates about your hive, as well as a Grassroots Tanzania tote bag and pack of gift cards.  After our harvest in May 2016, we will also send you a small jar of our honey for you to enjoy!

In addition to seeking financial support, we also welcome in kind generosity of appropriate tools, equipment and clothing for our team at the Project site.  This includes good quality beekeeping equipment, tools and headwearing work shoes and clothes as well as camping equipment items eg solar lanterns, UV water filters for drinking water.
